On September 21, Sunflower (300111.SZ) announced a significant acquisition plan. The company intends to acquire 100% equity of Zhangzhou Xipu Material Technology and 40% equity of Zhejiang Beide Pharmaceutical through a combination of share issuance and cash payment, along with raising supporting funds. Following this news, the company’s shares will resume trading on September 22.

Xipu Material specializes in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of high-end semiconductor materials, including ultra-high purity electronic specialty gases, silicon-based precursors, and metal-based precursors, which are widely used in key semiconductor manufacturing processes. Beide Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Sunflower, focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of drugs for anti-infective, cardiovascular, and digestive system treatments.

Sunflower stated that this acquisition aims to expand its business scope and enhance its competitiveness in the high-end semiconductor materials market.
