Aug 25 – NVIDIA launched the DRIVE AGX Thor Developer Kit for autonomous vehicles/mobility solutions. Built on DriveOS 7, it’s open for pre-order (ships in Sept), advancing autonomous driving tech.
DRIVE AGX Thor has backing from pioneers like OMNIVISION, which will power next-gen autonomous cars with advanced imaging for the ecosystem.
The kit leverages NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, next-gen Arm Neoverse V3AE CPU, and DriveOS 7. Designed for vision-language-action model inference, it has ample I/O for cameras, radar, LiDAR, and vehicle interfaces (GbE/10GbE, PCI-Express), meeting strict auto standards: ISO 26262 (safety) and ISO 21434 (cybersecurity).
Automakers (BYD, GAC, Li Auto, Volvo, Xiaomi, Zeekr) and autonomous truck firms (Aurora, Gatik) are using DRIVE AGX Thor, lifting its autonomous driving influence.
