MACOM Starts Fiscal 2026 Strong with Revenue Surge and Return to Profitability

MACOM reported robust financial results for its fiscal first quarter of 2026. Revenue reached $271.6 million, marking a strong 24.5% year-over-year increase. On a GAAP basis, the company achieved a gross margin of 55.9% and posted net income of $48.8 million, or $0.64 per diluted share, a decisive return to profitability compared to a net loss in the same period last year.

Adjusted non-GAAP metrics were also strong, with gross margin of 57.6% and adjusted net income of $78.2 million resulting in diluted EPS of $1.02, a 29.1% increase year-over-year.

CEO Stephen G. Daly stated the company is off to a solid start in fiscal 2026, remaining focused on delivering differentiated solutions for its target markets.

Looking ahead, MACOM provided an optimistic outlook for Q2, projecting revenue between $281 million and $289 million, with adjusted gross margin expected in the 57.0% to 59.0% range.
