Nexperia China Assures Supply After Dutch Unit Halts Wafer Shipments

Nexperia China has issued a strong response after its Dutch parent entity unilaterally stopped wafer supplies to its Dongguan packaging and testing plant (ATGD) starting October 26. The Chinese entity refuted the Dutch side's claims of payment issues as "misleading and defamatory," counter-claiming that the Dutch entity itself owes ATGD 1 billion yuan in unpaid receivables.

In its client communique, Nexperia China made four key points: it denied any breach of contract, accused the Dutch management of putting personal interests above the company's, condemned the supply halt as irresponsible and a violation of business principles, and, crucially, moved to assure customers.

The company stated it has sufficient finished and in-process inventory to stably fulfill customer orders through the end of the year and beyond. It has also activated contingency plans and is accelerating the validation of new wafer production capacity to seamlessly meet demand starting next year.

ICgoodFind: Nexperia China's robust inventory and proactive plans demonstrate supply chain resilience, helping to stabilize the industry amid the dispute.
