Intel has implemented worldwide price increases on its processors, focusing on the 12th-gen Alder Lake and 13th/14th-gen Raptor Lake series. International markets are seeing hikes of up to 20%, exceeding the 10% cap observed in the U.S.

Data from South Korea’s Danawa platform shows the Core i3-14100F rose 15%, while the Core i5-14600KF and i5-12400F increased 13% and 11%, respectively. In Japan, the Core i5-14400 led with a 20% jump, and the Core i3-14100 climbed 10%, though higher-end Core i7 and i9 models remained relatively stable with about 5% growth.

The adjustments reflect a divergence between old and new product lines. Intel’s latest Core Ultra 200S (Arrow Lake), despite AI features, has struggled with performance-to-price balance and weak consumer uptake. In contrast, the mature Intel 7 process used for Alder Lake and Raptor Lake keeps them in high demand, especially in the mid-range segment. With Arrow Lake relying on external TSMC production and limited pricing flexibility, Intel is boosting margins by raising prices on its older, in-house manufactured chips.
