Description The starter application covers up to 16A (7.5kW) local isolators for motors, providing protection against overload, short circuit, phase faults, and cable/wire faults. These motor starters can be used in conjunction with ABB contactors (typical stock number 445-0897) to provide accessories from auxiliary/signal contacts to undervoltage release. With the help of adapters, ABB small and A-series contactors (see typical stock numbers 445-0897 and 445-0825) can be used to easily construct motor starter combinations.
