Description OVR Type 1 Surge Protection Device for TNC 230V Network - System Pro M Compact OVR Type 1 Surge Protection Device comes with a status indicator light that can change from green to red at the end of the device's service life. The System Pro M also has a safety reserve system, where when the surge current exceeds the maximum capacitance of the device, the surge protection device will switch to the safety reserve position and the remote indicator light (TS) will switch to the defect. Therefore, users can be warned in advance to have more time to replace the sleeve. Because in the safety reserve position, with the help of a two-stage disconnect system, safety protection can still be ensured. The Pro m compact system is a plug-in device that facilitates maintenance in the event of sleeve failure due to power surges and lightning events. Therefore, replacing the spare sleeve does not require isolating the circuit or disconnecting any related wiring. The auxiliary contact (TS) function is executed by a 3-point 1A voltage free contact, which can remotely check the operating status of surge protection equipment. The applications of System Pro M include green energy systems for solar and wind turbines. ###Surge protection equipment, SPD (DIN rail) voltage surge is often referred to as peak or transient overvoltage, which is usually caused by switch fluorescent lamps, fuse burnout, or nearby lightning activity. The worst voltage surges are usually caused by lightning, with voltages up to 6000V and current surges exceeding 3000A. The maximum value of voltage and current surges caused by lightning strikes depends on the location within the building's wiring system. BS7671: First revised edition in 2011, sections 443 and 534 cover risk assessment and provide guidance on electronic device protection for installation engineers to follow. The BSEN 62305 standard series provides the most comprehensive information on lightning and surge protection.
