Description Kemet 0805 FT-CAP SMT MLCC Ceramic capacitor 0805 size FT-CAP surface mounted MLCC ceramic capacitor can provide up to 5mm bending performance by using a flexible termination system, which can minimize the board bending stress transmitted to the component body. These FT-CAP MLCC surface mounted ceramic capacitors have a flexible and conductive silver epoxy resin between the base metal and nickel barrier layer of the termination system, which can suppress the transmission of plate stress to the ceramic body, thereby reducing the occurrence of flexural cracks that can cause low infrared or short circuit faults. In addition, these FT-CAP MLCC ceramic capacitors have a wide operating temperature range of -55 to+125 ° C, low ESR and ESL, high thermal stability, and high ripple current capability. Typical applications of these FT-CAP MLCC ceramic capacitors include power supplies, LCD fluorescent backlight ballasts, HID lighting, telecommunications equipment, industrial and medical equipment/controls, LAN/WAN interfaces, analog and digital modems, and automotive applications. ###0805 series nickel baffle terminal coated with tin (NiSn) layer, applications include mobile phone, video, and tuner design. COG/NPO is the most common formula for temperature compensation and is an EIA Class I ceramic material. X7R and X5R formulas are temperature stable ceramics and belong to EIA Class II materials. Y5V and Z5U formulas are suitable for general use within a limited temperature range and belong to EIA Class II materials; These features are very suitable for decoupling applications.
