Description 255 Series 2 normally closed solenoid valves are used for water, steam, air, gas, hot oil and hydrocarbons, alkaline detergents, heat-resistant epoxy resin sleeve coils, brass bodies, and PTFE seals. The IP65 protection level of the 3-pin DIN connector can be increased by 90 ° and positioned within a 360 ° range. The fluid temperature range can reach 180 ° C (130 ° C when installing cable plugs) and the ambient temperature is+55 ° C (maximum). Series 2 inert gas and fluid valves are small solenoid valves suitable for most gas and fluid treatment applications. The schematic diagram illustrates the (circuit) functions of various solenoid valves. This diagram is developed in layers, and the left side of the diagram is sufficient to describe the operating condition of the valve when the coil is energized. When the coil loses power, the spring (or servo assist) re controls the valve, as described on the right side of the diagram. The 3/2-way design indicates that the valve has three ports and two operating modes. Usually, 2/2-way valves are referred to as two-way valves. The schematic diagram uses A, B, P, P1, P2, and R port markings, which are also indicated on the valve body. The valve body is usually marked for specific line functions and can also be used for other purposes.
