Description Centigrid® RF Relays -172, S172 and GRF172D Series 172, S172 and GRF172D Series Centigrid ® The relay is an ultra miniature, sealed structure, double pole double throw armature relay designed for various RF applications. The thin height and grid spacing of the terminal block (avoiding the use of extender pads) make it suitable for situations where the spacing between printed circuit boards needs to be closed. Utilizing lower internal contact capacitance and contact circuit losses, the 172, S172, and GRF172D series Centigrid ® Relays are excellent ultra miniature RF switches suitable for frequencies up to the ultra-high frequency spectrum (see performance curve data sheet). 172 Centigrid ® The relay adopts printed circuit board THT (please refer to inventory numbers 351-459, 351-465, 351-471, 758-2436, 758-2423, 758-2427), S172 and GRF172D Centigrid ® The relay is surface mounted on a printed circuit board (please refer to stock numbers 220-863, 220-942, and 758-2473). In addition to the standard type, there are also 172 * * D * *, S172 * * D * *, and GRF172 * * D * * relays, all of which are equipped with internally separated silicon diodes that provide coil transient suppression. GRF 172D (stock number 758-2473) has a unique grounding shield that isolates and shields each wire to ensure excellent contact to contact and pole to pole isolation. This grounding shield provides a grounding interface, thereby improving high-frequency performance and parameter repeatability. Applications include telecommunications, testing instruments, mobile communications, attenuators, and various other RF and data switching functions. Excellent sealing switching performance, high impact and vibration resistance from DC to 2 GHz, gold-plated contacts with low insertion loss -0.4pF insulation capacitance and inter contact capacitance.
