Global Semiconductor Sales Surge 19.6% YoY in June

Aug 4 - SIA released key data: Q2 2025 global semiconductor sales hit $179.7 billion, up 7.8% sequentially. SIA CEO John Neuffer noted: "Q2 chip sales soared 8% from Q1 and nearly 20% YoY, driven by strong sales in Asia Pacific and Americas. This trend bodes well for full-year growth."

June 2025 sales reached $59.9 billion, **19.6% higher than $50.1 billion in June 2024** and up 1.5% from May 2025.

Regionally, June saw YoY gains: APAC (ex-China/Japan) 34.2%, Americas 24.1%, China 13.1%, Europe 5.3%. Only Japan fell (-2.9%). Sequentially, APAC (ex-China/Japan) rose 5.8% and China 0.8%, while Americas (-0.2%), Europe (-0.7%) and Japan (-1.7%) dipped slightly.
