Description Midas Character COB LCD Display The Midas Display series of character LCD displays features an onboard chip (COB) mechanical structure. These LCD displays offer 16, 20, and 40 character options, using either Super Twisted Nematic (STN) or Thin Film Compensated Super Twisted Nematic (FSTN) technology. The positive and negative modes provided in the COB LCD display can create optional appearances. Most character LCD controllers come with a traditional interface equivalent to HD44780 and include a standard onboard character set. To meet the requirements of customer applications, the COB LCD display provides a viewing angle in the 6 o'clock direction.
