Description TC649 The Microchip TC649 fan controller is a switch mode fan speed controller designed to be used with brushless DC fans. TC649 provides temperature proportional fan speed control through PWM from an external thermistor (or other voltage output sensor). Has a user programmable minimum temperature setting. This allows customization of TC649, and the minimum temperature threshold below the fan will be turned off. Integrated start-up timer for reliable motor start-up. This device can also utilize Microchip FanSense ™ Technology is used to monitor fan performance.
