Description Honeywell TruStability® SSC Series pressure sensor TruStability ® The standard precision silicon ceramic (SSC) series is a piezoelectric resistance silicon sensor. They are designed to provide digital outputs for reading pressure within a specified pressure and temperature range. These devices are fully calibrated during manufacturing using onboard ASICs, and compensate for induction bias, sensitivity, temperature effects, and nonlinearity. The output value for pressure calibration is updated at a frequency of approximately 2 kHz. These devices have been calibrated to operate within a temperature range of -20 to+85 ° C and can operate with a single power supply of 3.3 or 5.0 V DC. This series includes devices for measuring differential and gauge pressure. The differential model allows pressure to be applied on either side of the sensing diaphragm, while the gauge model references atmospheric pressure and provides an output environment proportional to changes in atmospheric pressure.
