Description 5SJ6 MCB Series -6kA, B-type, and C-type characteristic line protection switches with quick insert terminal blocks are mainly used to protect power sockets and lighting circuits with rated currents of 10 to 63 A. DIN rail components provide touch protection for VBG4/BGV A2. Rated voltage: 1P-230/400V AC; 1P+N-230V AC; 2P/3P+N/4P -400V AC disconnect capacity: 6kA dual screw free output terminal block, used for rigid and flexible wires: rigid, 1 to 4mm; flexible, 1 to 2.5mm. If it is a flexible wire, no terminal sleeve is required. It is fully compatible with all other 5SJ and 5SY miniature circuit breakers and can be disconnected without tools. Manual removal depth is 70mm. Standard EN 60898, VDE 0641 Part 11, IEC 60898. Siemens RCD, RCBO, RCCB, and MCB type B characteristics provide an instantaneous short-circuit response level of 3-5 times the normal rated current, making it suitable for circuits with medium surge current, such as incandescent lamps, heating loads, and most household/small building protection applications. The C-type characteristic provides a short-circuit response of 5-10 times the normal rated current, making it suitable for higher surge current circuits, such as motor control and fluorescent lamp installation in factories (if faster types are used in these places, noise induced tripping may occur). The D-type characteristic is designed for high surge current loads. Magnetic trip point -10 to 20 times rated. Thermal trigger point -1.13 to 1.45 rated protector. The AC type characteristic ensures disconnection when quickly applying or slowly increasing sine or direct current.
