Description Tektronix TSG4100A The Tektronix TSG4100A series RF vector signal generator offers mid-range performance and modulation bandwidth up to 200 MHz at an entry-level RF signal generator price. This model (available in 2GHz, 4GHz, 6GHz) uses new technology to provide parasitic free output with low phase noise (offset from 1 GHz carrier -113 dBc/Hz at 20 kHz) and excellent frequency resolution (1 μ Hz at any frequency). The TSG4100A series provides standards through analog modulation. Convenient on-site software upgrades help to transition from analog to more advanced vector and signal molding functions, providing the most flexible configuration and optimal CAPEX protection. The TSG4100A model with manufacturer part number suffix M00 (876-5792, 876-5806, 876-5803) comes with an OCXO (Constant Temperature Crystal Oscillator). The model with the manufacturer's part number suffix M01 (876-5796, 876-5809, 876-5812) comes with a voltage controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO). The TSG4100A instrument sets Tektronix apart from other leading intermediate RF testing solutions, such as the USB based RSA306 spectrum analyzer (830-2852) and Tektronix MDO4000B and MDO3000 hybrid domain oscilloscopes.
