Description OSRAM SFH 7050 BIOFY The sensor comes from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors' BIOFY sensor (SFH 7050), which is its first integrated photoelectric sensor. The BIOFY sensor is designed specifically for reflective blood oxygen saturation meters and automatic health tracking. It adopts a compact package with dimensions of 4.7 x 2.5 x 0.9mm. The multi chip device has three light emitting diodes (LEDs) with different wavelengths; Green (535 nm), red (660 nm), and IR (940 nm). These wavelengths are based on efficient chip technology. The BIOFY sensor SFH 7050 also includes a photodiode with a large surface area that maximizes signal level. When the sensor comes into contact with the skin, it automatically starts measuring, and once it is removed from your skin, it automatically starts measuring. The BIOFY sensor SFH 7050 also features a light barrier that can block any internal crosstalk, thereby improving the signal-to-noise ratio. The suitable applications of BIOFY sensor SFH 7050 include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation meter, and proximity sensor. The sensor can measure heart rate with only one LED power supply. Activate the blood oxygen saturation meter by using red and infrared LEDs. Function of SFH 7050 BIOFY sensor: Automatic health tracking, especially suitable for heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation meter, and proximity sensors.
