Description TE Connectivity PIDG PIDG (pre insulated diamond handle) circular tongue wire crimping terminal is designed for consistent reliability and is suitable for the most challenging circuit environments. These PIDG ring tongue terminal blocks include precision molded high conductivity copper bodies and sleeves. The wire conduit is wrapped with copper and nylon color coded conduit. The copper sleeve surrounding the conduit provides improved insulation support for the wire after crimping, allowing the wire to bend without wearing out the insulation layer or damaging the wire. Nylon sleeves are color coded according to wire size to assist in identification. The interior of the PIDG ring terminal wire sleeve is serrated, providing maximum contact and tensile strength after crimping. The structure of these PIDG wiring terminals and the use of professional tool molds can achieve consistent insulation thickness under crimping pressure. This pressure is then evenly transmitted to the center of the crimping area to produce a consistent and reliable crimping. These PIDG ring terminal blocks also have funnel-shaped entrances to prevent the wire harness from retracting and allow for quick insertion of wires during high-speed production. Offering a variety of wire, conduit, and stud sizes, these PIDG ring terminal blocks provide versatile solutions for a wide range of wiring applications. Features and advantages include high conductivity copper body copper conduit, used to improve wire insulation support for serrations in wire conduit, ensuring maximum contact and tensile strength. Color coded conduit blocks are easy to identify wire size and tool funnel-shaped wire entry, easy to insert wire design for reliable and consistent crimping.
