Description NS5 The NS8 version 2 color touch screen NS5 and NS8 human-machine interface provide a graphical touch screen interface (connected via RS-232C, with a speed of up to 115Kbps) for Omron PLC controlled systems and machines, which can respond to system/machine events and user inputs at high speed. Programming 2 x RS232 ports via USB port for bright, high-definition STN (NS5) and TFT (NS8) models NS5-256 colors (4096 for displaying. BMP/. JPG), effective display area up to 5.7 inches NS8-256 colors (32768 for displaying. BMP/. JPG), effective display area up to 8 inches NS8 and NS5 models both have a USB programming port (USB type B connector). Standard objects supported include alphanumeric data input, analog/level meter, bitmap, trend chart, animation, data recording chart (up to 160000 points), alarm event/history (5000 pieces), video display (only NS8 supports video input, option card required), and multiple languages. Supports (16 languages) Compact Flash slots for software updates, data/alert logging, and configuration file storage. Data can be stored as CSV format 3-level backlight brightness adjustment with 3-year manufacturer's warranty using Windows based NS designer software for programming, which is provided as a standalone product package, stock number 510-1956 # # # Omron
