Description 16 The Linear Technology * * 16 bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) product line includes delay free Delta Sigma converters, high-speed pipelines, and successive approximation registers (SAR). Sigma Delta ADC provides Easy Drive current cancellation technology, allowing direct connection to external RC networks and sensors without the need for external amplifiers. They have ultra-low noise and have I2C or SPI serial interfaces. The QuikEval data acquisition and analysis software tool allows you to evaluate the DC performance of Delta Sigma ADCs. **Linear Technology * * SAR ADC has a sampling rate of up to 5Msps, and single/multiple and simultaneous sampling ADCs facilitate I2C, serial SPI, and parallel interfaces. SAR analog-to-digital converters provide low bias and gain errors.
