Description RS-485 Line drivers and receivers, Linear Technology's RS485 standard is widely used in local networks and long-distance data transmission, particularly suitable for industrial and commercial applications. Implement Profibus protocol, suitable for fieldbus solutions in factory and process automation environments. The RS422 standard is similar to the RS485 standard, but does not allow multiple drivers on a single summary. The RS485 transceiver (formerly TIA-485) defines a differential data transmission rate of up to 10Mbps. The low-power CMOS RS485/RS422 interface transceiver has a fault protection receiver, high voltage, high data transmission rate, high ESD protection type, and transceiver (TXRX), with pin controlled switchable 120 Ω terminating resistors. Balanced circuits provide excellent noise suppression capabilities
