Description PolySwitch™ PTC The TRF series TE PolySwitch TRF series telecommunications and network equipment can provide protection against damage caused by power source crossing and power induced surges as defined in ITU, Telcordia GR1089, and UL60950. It can quickly switch from a low resistance state to a very high resistance state through electrical overload or short circuit. After correcting the fault state and turning off the power, it can quickly and automatically reset and return to the low resistance state. Features: It can perform thousands of automatic self resets. Maintenance free small models, no need for fuse holders. Main applications: security system power supply and transformer power switch devices, automotive and medical equipment instruments and control computers and peripheral devices, audio, video, and telecommunications
