Description MCP3909 The dual channel ADC evaluation board can evaluate the performance of MCP3909 dual channel ADC. It also provides a development platform for 16 bit PIC based applications, using the existing 100 pin PIM system (compatible with Explorer 16 and other high pin PIC demonstration boards). The system comes with a programmed MCU module that can communicate with onboard LCD and LabView GUI for online and PC signal processing. Includes PIC24FJ128GA010 and dsPIC33FJ256GP710 PIM modules for serial communication to PC, dual 16 bit ADC MCP3909 output display, 81dB SINAD performance on 16 bit MCP3909 channel, synchronized 15ksps spectrum analysis calculated using DFT dsPIC33F, resolution TBDAH. System and ADC performance analysis is performed using graphical PC tools, displaying noise rectangles, frequency domain (FFT), time domain oscilloscope charts, and statistical analysis. Robust hardware design with analog grounding and analog/digital separation for noise performance evaluation.
