Model MCPC4850E
Description MCPC - Phase angle controller/solid-state relay in one package. Suitable for any soft start/stop application that requires load control at multiple power levels, such as heating elements, light brightness, or motor speed (such as fan motors). The customized MCS/PC solid-state relay provides the same ramp function as the standard MCS series, but adds additional phase control functionality to the relay. Therefore, customers can specify the power they want to apply to the load and gradually adjust it to that set value. If the power level is adjusted during operation, the relay will gradually adjust to the new set value. Providing a portion of each AC sine wave to control the power transmitted to the electrical load, where the percentage of power transmitted is determined by the input value, reduces wiring and components in the panel, thereby saving time, cost, and space. 0-100% control range output status LED (load on, no voltage) independent output enable/disable control SCR output # # # Note that heat sinks are not included.
