Description RTP The TE Connectivity RTP series overheat protection devices utilize a single electronic activation process to become heat sensitive, allowing them to open at 140 ° C when located outdoors. If the fault occurs in low-temperature AC applications, such as dimmers, the RTP series helps prevent thermal dissipation of electronic components. Helping to protect the system from thermal dissipation damage caused by faulty power components allows for standard surface mount production methods, with no special assembly costs, low power consumption, and voltage drop support for AC electronic circuits. Surface mount technology (fuses) is used to prevent electrical and electronic circuits from being damaged by excessive currents. They can quickly switch from a low impedance state to a very high impedance state under electrical overload or short circuit conditions, and can automatically reset and return to a low impedance state after the fault disappears and the power is cut off. After thousands of cycles of use, it is still a maintenance free automatic reset small model that does not require a fuse holder. It is mainly used for safety system power supply and transformer power switch devices, automotive and medical equipment instruments and control computers and peripheral devices, audio and video, and telecommunications
