Description Synapse RF Engine Module Synapse RF Engine ® The module combines Silicon Labs' Si1000 wireless microcontroller (MCU) and Synapse Wireless ®， Inc.'s top-notch Synapse SNAP ® Network operating system. The jointly developed modules make it an easy to deploy, adjustable, ultra-low power, and small volume wireless mesh network solution for smart metering, building automation, lighting control, personal medical devices, asset tracking systems, and other wireless applications. The Synapse RF engine based on Si1000 MCU provides a complete hardware/software solution, which developers can deploy immediately on end products. It also provides an easy-to-use development platform that allows people to migrate wireless designs to high-capacity applications using Si1000 MCUs running SNAP as embedded firmware. ###Silicon Labs Si1000 wireless MCU, belonging to the Si10xx wireless MCU series, combines a 25MHz 8051 core EZRadioPRO ® The sub GHz RF transceiver, 64KB flash memory, and 10 bit ADC compact 5 x 7mm package Si10xx series provide market leading RF performance with the highest output power, highest sensitivity, and lowest power wake-up conversion. The Si10xx series offers the lowest current in common operating modes (active, sleep, and deep sleep modes). The Synapse SNAP network operating system is an instant power on mesh network software solution that can run on a wide range of commonly used processing platforms. The SNAP small memory volume (only 45KB) leaves more space for user applications. SNAP supports up to 16 million nodes in a single peer-to-peer mesh network.
