Description 4 Port USB 2.0 extender, Super Category 5 or 6 USB2004EXT2 4-port USB extender allows you to expand USB 2.0 devices with Category 5 or better Ethernet cables, up to a distance of 330ft (100m). The accompanying power adapter provides up to 500mA of power to each port remotely, allowing you to access and power up to four USB 2.0 devices located in remote locations far from the host computer system. This USB extender provides data transfer rate support of up to 480 Mbps, is compatible with plug and play and hot swappable, and is also backward compatible with USB 1. x devices. This versatile USB extender provides a fast, simple, and flexible solution for commercial or industrial applications, with a durable metal casing that includes a surface mount bracket kit. It offers four USB 2.0 ports at the remote end (via a Category 5/6 cable) through Category 5 wiring, with a maximum extension distance of up to 100m/330ft. The sturdy metal casing also includes a surface mount bracket kit. Each port is powered by 500mA of high-speed USB 2.0 standard, with a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps.
