Description VOL6xxA Series, Vishay Semiconductor Vishay VOL617A and VOL628A series low input current optocouplers, with phototransistor output, can prevent device users from being electrocuted and prevent damage to microprocessors within these systems due to voltage peaks. The VOL617A and VOL628A series offer voltage isolation up to 5000Vrms. Applications include: AC adapter, switch mode power supply, programmable logic controller, industrial control, telecommunication system, intelligent instrument, office equipment, power supply on the Internet and isolation in solar energy.
