Description Phase controlled thyristor T. RIA series, T module, Vishay Semiconductor single thyristor (SCR) power module isolated from metal base with 3500VRMS voltage # # # Recognized UL E78996 certification # # # Thyristor - Vishay Semiconductor thyristor is a solid-state semiconductor device with four alternating layers of N-type and P-type materials. They act as bistable switches, functioning when their gates receive current triggers and continuing to function when in forward bias. Thyristor is synonymous with silicon controlled rectifier (SCR). Sealed module with electrical isolation base plate. Suitable for applications such as battery chargers, welding machines, electroplating equipment, as well as voltage regulators, temperature and speed control circuits. Warning: These products contain beryllium oxide and should not be cut open or calcined.
