Description IP68 Deltron 483 The rated rating of the Deltron 480 series die cast aluminum box with flange outer shell is IP68, as defined in IEC standard 60529. IP68 is the highest level defined in this standard. These boxes can withstand a depth of 5 meters for up to 1 hour and are certified by BS EN60529 1992. Make these shells particularly suitable for systems exposed to harsh environmental conditions in navigation, industry, food preparation, transportation, leisure, and other applications. Provide shielded (EMC) models. The printed circuit board installation guide rail on the selected model of ordinary die cast aluminum shell is sealed with hard chloroprene rubber, with self-adhesive backing cover and sealed positioning terminals to assist in installation and sealing. The cover is fixed by M3.5 x 12 stainless steel fixing screws with a minimum sealing thickness of 3.0mm, a minimum sealing frame width of 4.0mm, and a minimum shell wall/cover thickness of 1.5mm.
