Description Eurocard extensions Range of extensions for testing single- or double-height Eurocards, depth 160 or 220 mm, with type B or C DIN 41612 connectors. The ejector mechanism situated at the front supports the board under test. The board circuits are thus entirely clear of the chassis, considerably facilitating their inspection and verification. To facilitate fixing of oscilloscope probes, the extension boards can be fitted with terminals (single boards are supplied with 20terminals and doubles with 40). This option is not available on extensions with 96 // 96 contacts. Copper is 305 g/m (1 oz/ft). The edge connector is gold-plated with a thickness of 1.5 microns. Pre drilled holes with a diameter of 1.0 mm (0.040 in.) and a spacing of 2.54 mm (0.1 in.). The side of the micro board style plug-in board where components are installed is equipped with a mesh type grounding plate, which assists in high-speed operation without low-frequency interference by eliminating switch tip pulses. The grounding plate is coated with solder mask and yellow shielding.
