Description SOMO-II Audio-Sound The SOMO-II module from 4D Systems is a compact Audio Sound module designed for all embedded audio sound applications. SOMO-II is designed to play MP3 audio files from micro SD cards or USB 2.0 flash drives through additional components. The onboard 16 bit MCU is specially designed for hardware audio decoding. The files can be stored in the root folder of a micro SD or USB flash drive. It can store up to 99 folders and 255 songs at a time. Audio files can be loaded onto a micro SD card or USB flash drive using a PC or portable computer without the need for additional software. SOMO-II offers two modes, serial mode or key mode: * * Serial mode SOMO-II audio sound module features: Compact 16 pin package size: 21 x 20.5 x 11.3 mm 24 bit DAC output Serial mode or key mode Mono amplifier speaker output Stereo DAC audio output for external amplifiers/headphones Onboard micro SD adapter supports up to 32GB micro SD or USB 2.0 flash drive 3.3V to 5V DC voltage range (single power supply) 4D Systems
