Description Tektronix Differential probes P6246, P6247, P6248 Tektronix differential probes P6246, P6247, and P6248 enable users to perform time-domain or frequency-domain measurements on high bandwidth signals commonly found in disk drives, digital IC designs (RAMBUS), and communication applications (Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE-1394 Firewire, and Fiber Channel). The accessories included with P6248 allow RAMBUS to be accessed through probes and IEEE-1394 interconnection. All probes have a small probe geometry. They are all equipped with probe tip attachments that can accommodate manual detection of surface mounted equipment while maintaining a high CMRR. They are an ideal choice for disk drive read channel electronics and timing analysis design validation, suitable for troubleshooting ground vibration issues associated with high-speed logic. Other applications include crosstalk compliance testing for pulse shapes or high-speed communication signals. Suitable for use with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. Low input capacitance probe input connectors: two standard 0.025 in/0.63 mm (0.1 inch center) square pin sockets (female) with electrostatic discharge capacitance difference (IEC 801-2)>60 dB (1000:1) common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) small probes for easy detection of SMD # # # differential oscilloscope probes
