Description Hirose DF9 The DF9 series of 1.0mm board to board connectors and sockets are equipped with interface connectors designed to comply with the VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) FPDI-1 (Flat Panel Display Interface) standard, suitable for LCD displays. These DF9 series printed circuit board connectors have trapezoidal mating interfaces to prevent accidental insertion. The easy locking mechanism ensures a secure mating of the connector and provides contact engagement to confirm completion of the mating. These DF9 printed circuit board socket and plug connector models provide mounting bosses that can be used to secure the connectors in place during soldering or manual placement. SMT sockets and socket connectors have metal fasteners that are used to firmly secure them to printed circuit boards and prevent solder joints from peeling off due to mechanical stress. The compact design of the interface connector complies with the VESA FPDI-1 standard and is suitable for LCD display trapezoidal mating interfaces, which can prevent accidental insertion. The stacking height is 4.3 mm and the easy locking mechanism is used for secure mating. The metal fasteners on the SMT type are used to firmly connect the printed circuit board and prevent solder detachment.
