Description Hirose FunctionMAX FX30B 7.62 mm Board to board connector FunctionalMAX FX30B 7.62mm connector, used for parallel, vertical, and common board to board installation. These FX30B 7.62mm connectors have a unique floating structure that reduces installation misalignment errors in applications using multiple stacked connectors. The contact design is used to provide a gap of 0.3 mm in the XY direction and 1 mm in the Z direction during mating. Floating contacts self center in the X and Y directions and can reduce calibration errors, ensuring safe and accurate mating. This floating function can also eliminate stress caused by installation and placement errors, to prevent welding cracking and the need for corrective rework. The large mating rail on either side of the FX30B socket is connected to the rib pattern on the socket for safe connection. These molded guide posts also allow for ± 1.3 mm calibration movement in the XY direction, making mating easier and preventing incorrect insertion. The additional six keys around the mating surface of these FX20 connectors also help prevent reverse insertion. These FX30B connectors have metal fasteners on either side for secure attachment to printed circuit boards. These metal fasteners can also withstand deformation in the up, down, left, and right directions. Each pin of the contacts of these FX30B connectors has a high current capacity of 13-17A. The FX20 socket connector includes gold-plated contacts and features a multi-point structure with four independent contacts to improve contact reliability. These FX30B board to board connectors have a two-step contact timing sequence that enables low insertion/extraction force. ###Features and advantages: The floating structure can reduce the installation of uncalibrated automatic alignment and self guiding structures.
