Description Hirose FunctionMAX FX20 0.5 mm The board to board connector FunctionalMAX FX20 0.5mm SMT board to board connector adopts a unique floating structure, which can absorb installation deviation errors in applications using multiple stacked connectors. The FX20 series socket connector has a floating structure embedded inside the fixed base of the housing. During the mating process, this floating structure can form a certain gap between the contacts in the XY direction, with a minimum gap of+0.6mm. The floating contacts self center in the X and Y directions and absorb deviation errors, ensuring safe and accurate mating. The floating characteristics of these FX20 board to board connectors can also eliminate stress caused by installation and placement errors, and prevent welding cracking without the need for calibration rework. The large fitting guide devices on either side of the socket can also allow for a calibrated movement of ± 1.2 mm in the XY direction. These guide devices are easier to fit, prevent incorrect insertion, and ensure a secure connection. The floating characteristics of these FunctionalMAX FX20 board to board connectors enable them to withstand harsh conditions in industrial and automotive applications. The FX20 socket connector includes self-cleaning dual beam contacts, which provide high vibration resistance and improved contact reliability. These dual beam contacts are made of highly conductive materials and each pin has a current capacity of 0.5A. The gap between the contact and the housing is designed to prevent capillary action, thereby preventing solder and flux penetration in the contact area during assembly. ###Features and advantages: Floating structure, capable of absorbing installation deviations, reliable dual beam contact structure, vibration resistance, and reliable electrical connection.
