Description DEHNshield The pre wiring of the surge arrester module optimized for applications combines lightning current and surge arrester, and is used for TN-S systems based on spark gap. It is a space saving lightning arrester that combines lightning current and surge arrester, and is used for compact and simple electrical devices that have already been installed. It has reduced technical requirements to protect terminal equipment and provides a readily installable housing with a transparent cover, with a protection level of IP65. Surge protection equipment, SPD (DIN rail) voltage surge, is often referred to as peak or transient overvoltage, which is usually caused by turning off fluorescent lamps, fuse burnout, or nearby lightning activity. The worst voltage surges are usually caused by lightning, with voltages up to 6000V and current surges exceeding 3000A. The maximum value of voltage and current surges caused by lightning strikes depends on the location within the building's wiring system. BS7671: First revised edition in 2011, sections 443 and 534 cover risk assessment and provide guidance on electronic device protection for installation engineers to follow. The BSEN 62305 standard series provides the most comprehensive information on lightning and surge protection.
