Using standard HPS ballasts and starters, the main body of the arc-shaped tube can be quickly started to provide open and sealed models - please refer to the technical specifications # # # Metal Halides (Lighting) # # Metal Halides These bulbs produce bright white light, suitable for display or floodlighting, where the heat output of halogen tungsten lamps may cause problems. The efficiency of metal halide lamps is approximately four times higher than that of halogen lamps and xenon lamps. In addition, the short arc type is similar to point light sources, making optical design easier. Its color temperature is similar to daylight, so it can reproduce accurate colors (red, green, blue). It can also be used for high and low shed applications. Compared to high-pressure mercury lamps, metal halide lamps provide higher efficiency; Compared to high-pressure sodium (SON) lamps, they have similar advantages but different output characteristics. One disadvantage of metal halide lamps compared to SON lamps is their shorter lifespan.
