Description Hirose EnerBee DF63 Series 3.96mm printed circuit board socket connectors These DF63 series 3.96mm wire to board small power socket connectors are part of the EnerBee series. When used in conjunction with 16 AWG wire, the DF63 series has a maximum current capacity of 15A. The housing of these DF63 3.96mm sockets has a robust forward locking mechanism designed to prevent accidental pull-out caused by drops or external impacts. When mating, an audible and tactile bite click sound will be emitted to confirm that the connector is fully engaged, ensuring a complete electrical and mechanical connection. This forward locking mechanism is located at the center of the housing, which can achieve uniform locking and prevent cable entanglement caused by side locking. Locking on the side can also save printed circuit board space and achieve high-density parallel installation. The DF63 3.96mm socket also has a protective mechanism to prevent incomplete insertion of the mating pressure contact point. The shell design also features color coding and keying to prevent incorrect matching between different positions. The contacts of these DF63 connectors are separated by inner walls, allowing them to be independent of each other and preventing short circuits. These DF63 3.96mm socket connectors have guide posts that facilitate accurate placement and orientation on printed circuits and prevent reverse installation. The shell material of DF63 socket contains glass filled resin, which can reduce thermal shrinkage and prevent welding cracking. These DF63 socket connectors accept resin seals up to 5mm thick and will not have any impact on their performance.
