Description Hirose 4.5mm DF64 Hirose 4.5mm DF64 series two-piece horizontal mating plug and socket connector system for board to board and board to wire applications, including printed circuit board mounting sockets, printed circuit board sockets, and cable mounting crimp plug housings. This 4.5mm DF64 series connector system utilizes a board to board floating structure and a dual point, stress free contact structure, which can absorb movement and deviation between printed circuit boards and provide reliable connections. The effective mating width and length of the DF64 connector system can increase dimensional tolerance along the X and Y directions on the printed circuit board. The DF64 connector system also utilizes a stress free side locking system, which can produce a clicking sound and perform visual inspection after completing the mating process in online board applications. The 4.5mm DF64 series socket and cable mounting plug can be shared and compatible with universal socket connectors, simplifying the layout of printed circuit boards. Typical applications of the DF64 series 2-piece connection system include lighting, automotive headlights, medical equipment, and FA controllers. Stock numbers 873-5142 and 873-5158 are SMT mounting pin sockets for right angle printed circuit boards. Stock numbers 873-5145 and 873-5151 are SMT mounting sockets for right angle printed circuit boards. Stock numbers 873-5133 and 873-5149 are cable mounting plug housings.
