Description DICON Touch Process and Program Controller Attachment DICON Touch is a dual channel universal process and program controller that uses vivid TFT color graphic displays to display information. The device is operated through touch, which is very intuitive. Two control channels use the JUMO control algorithm that has been tested in practice, with two possible optimization options. These make the startup simple and very accurate. It can perform multi zone control, cascade control, or other complex control tasks. Four analog universal inputs and up to eight external inputs can record various high-precision physical measurement values. The actuator can be directly controlled using analog or digital settings in the device. These functions can be further expanded through external digital outputs. Interfaces such as Modbus, PROFIBUS, or Ethernet with a web server can be used to communicate with advanced systems. A single process screen can be created by using configuration software. By recording additional code, important analog and digital process values can be saved so that they are tamper proof, visualized graphically, and exported to PC configuration software in a tamper proof manner through interfaces or USB sticks. This ensures easy programming of process controllers, describes mathematical or logical coherence, and creates customer specific linearization. In addition, it includes tools for simulating external signals or control paths. These tools can also record the duration of startup. The concept of comprehensive alarm and limit value, as well as flexible digital signal management, are all integrated into this multi in one device.
