Description PCM186x The audio front-end ADC evaluation kit consists of two Texas Instruments evaluation modules, which can evaluate the PCM1860/PCM862 2-channel audio front-end ADC. In addition to controlling signals through I2C, the accompanying USB-12X printed circuit board can also connect the module to a PC and provide 5V power supply; It can also achieve serial digital audio input and output between PC and module through I2S interface. The purpose of this board includes PCM9211 digital audio interface transceiver, which enables the module to receive and transmit digital audio through the provided optical/SPDIF connector; PCM9211 converts optical data into I2S and routes it to PCM186x. Provide two evaluation module options: 903-3822 (PCM1860EVM) hardware programmable 903-3826 (PCM1862EVM) software programmable simple external 5V power connection or USB-I2X USB power supply socket and test point, used for most signals sent and received by PCM186x can use PurePath ™ The console is programmed with all registers through USB-I2X via USB.
