Description CY8CKIT-012 PSoC Prototype and development extension circuit board kit designed for use with CY8CKIT-001 PSoC development kit The CY8CKIT-001 PSoC development kit provides a universal development platform where any of the PSoC 1, PSoC 3, or PSoC 5 architectures can be used to configure prototypes and evaluate different solutions PSoC 1 has an 8-bit M8C CPU core and up to 32KB of flash program memory The PSoC 5 has a 32-bit ARM Cortex M3 CPU core and up to 256KB of flash program memory This is a fully functional circuit board that includes three onboard linear regulators, providing power to external devices and PSoC processor modules at 1.7V and 5V voltages This circuit board can flexibly supply power to input and output ports at different voltage levels, separating the input and output VDD rails Based on the different performance characteristics of 8-bit and 32-bit PSoC devices, this circuit board allows for the insertion of multiple PSoC processor modules
