Description Tyco PolySwitch™ PTC The AHEF series TE AHEF series fuse is an automotive specific PolySwitch PPTC device that meets and is sold under the PS400 specification, derived from the AEC-Q200 standard used for electronic components in the automotive industry. The commonly used applications include in car information services, entertainment and navigation systems, LCD backlight heaters, power and cigarette lighter sockets, plugs and adapters/chargers, motors and motor circuit protection, including power door locks, mirrors, lumbar pumps, seats, sunroofs, windows, airflow detection, and overcurrent protection in HVAC and cooling fan systems. Overcurrent and Overvoltage Circuit Protection Equipment Resettable and Disposable Overcurrent Equipment Wide Range Shape Factors and Termination Methods Products Compliant with Applicable Automotive Industry Standards Equipment Compatible with High Capacity Electronic Assembly Compliant with RoHs Printed Circuit Board Wire End (Resettable Fuse) Printed Circuit Board Wire End Resettable Fuse Radial Leads with the following Characteristics: All Passed UL, CSA, and TUV Certification can protect electrical and electronic circuits from damage caused by excessive current. It can quickly switch from a low resistance state to a very high resistance state through electrical overload or short circuit. After correcting the fault state and turning off the power, it can quickly and automatically reset and return to the low resistance state. Features: It can perform thousands of automatic self resets. Maintenance free small models, no need for fuse holders. Main applications: security system power supply and transformer power switch devices, automotive and medical equipment instruments and control computers and peripheral devices, audio, video, and telecommunications
