Description XS9 Series Inductive Proximity Sensor - The stainless steel 316L XS9 series inductive proximity sensor features a stainless steel 316L single piece housing and an extremely sturdy sensing surface, with resistance to mechanical impact and vibration. This series of inductive proximity sensors is particularly suitable for use in harsh industrial environments, making it ideal for various applications such as food and beverage, maritime applications, and vehicles with mobile devices. The XS sensor is entirely made of metal, with extremely high resistance to water pressure and a contact area that provides IP68/69K housing protection. Compliance with Ecolab standards means that these sensors are resistant to corrosion during the cleaning process using chemicals. The factor 1 sensing function of these sensors can detect both ferrous and non-ferrous materials from the same distance. Cylindrical design with high switching frequency provides embedded and non embedded stainless steel 316L 3-wire DC, solid-state output LED indicating polarity reversal, overload and short circuit protection # # OsiSense
