These Free Height (FH) sandwich connectors feature high-density ultra miniature packaging with a centerline spacing of only 0.031mm, which saves 50% of space on printed circuit boards compared to 1.27mm centerline connectors. The contacts of these 0.8mm Free Height (FH) connectors are designed with corrugated tube springs, which can withstand scratches and breakage during connector mating and unplugging, providing reliable electrical connections. These 0.8 mm Free Height (FH) plugs feature polarized design to ensure accurate mating and have printed circuit board positioning hubs for precise placement on the printed circuit board. By connecting these 0.8mm FH plugs with different board mounting sockets, a range of board to board stacking heights of 5 to 16mm can be achieved. Part numbers 5177984-X and 5177986-X are 5mm FH vertical plugs that can be used to achieve stacking heights of 5, 9, and 13mm.
