Description TS1107 Electronic circuit breaker: Bidirectional current sensing amplifier with current limiter comparator demonstration board, used for Silicon Labs TS1107 series. These electronic circuit breakers use a bidirectional current sensing amplifier to detect current limits. They have internal current limiting comparators with adjustable thresholds that send signals in the event of a fault. The circuit breaker system has a typical delay of 428 μ s. Provide two gain options: 20 V/V - TS1110-20DB (RS 894-7099) and 200 V/V - TS1110-200DB (RS 894-7109). These demonstration boards are fully assembled and tested. TS1107 offers a 16 pin TQFN package. The Silicon Labs TS1110 series has added an internal FET control to drive the gate of an external P-channel MOSFET. Two gain options are also available: 20 V/V - TS1110-20DB (RS 894-7121) 200 V/V - TS1110-200DB (RS 894-7112) # # # Current sense amplifier. The voltage output of the current sense amplifier is proportional to the voltage drop of the very low value resistor, usually on the high current power rail. Therefore, the current of the power rail can be measured.
