Description 4D The Serial Pi Adapter 4D Systems is an adapter board that allows most 4D Systems display modules to be connected to the Raspberry Pi platform via a single 5-pin connection. The serial PI adapter provides a serial interface for direct IO connection to Raspberry Pi. This adapter transfers power from the Raspberry Pi to the display module, so there is no need for an external power source. The 4D serial Pi adapter comes with certain 4D Systems PI module packages. The serial adapter is compatible with Raspberry Pi A, B, and B+.
