Description TE Connectivity VAL-U-LOK 4.2 mm Plug housing with TPA (Terminal Position Assurance) VAL-U-LOK dual row plug housing, featuring a 4.2mm centerline, suitable for wire to wire applications. These VAL-U-LOK plug housings feature an easy to connect and disconnect design, with key connections for precise alignment and an integrated housing locking latch for secure mating. This new VAL-U-LOK series 4.2mm plug housing accepts optional TPA (Terminal Position Assurance) devices. TPA equipment can ensure that the wiring terminals are completely fixed in the housing and prevent them from falling off due to vibration, impact, or pulling force. The casing of these VAL-U-LOK plugs comes in two different materials. Part number X-1969612-X has a UL 94V-0 rated nylon housing. Part number X-2296206-X has a housing that meets both the hot wire standard and UL 94V-0 rating (hot wire test, compliant with EN/IEC 60335-1 and UL 94V-0). These TPA devices for VAL-U-LOK plug connectors need to be purchased separately, please refer to typical inventory number 811-6752. The crimping pin contacts of these VAL-U-LOK plug connectors need to be purchased separately, please refer to inventory number 123-4878. The VAL-U-LOK TPA series connectors can be compatible with existing VAL-U-LOK connectors and sockets. ###Features and advantages: The design of easy to connect and disconnect key connections ensures precise alignment with the integrated housing locking latch, ensuring a secure connection to the TPA (guaranteed terminal position) and preventing terminal detachment. These VAL-U-LOK plug housings are suitable for a variety of applications.
