Description 25AA256/25LC256 SPI Microchip's 25AA256/25LC256 series devices are 256K bit SPI serial EEPROMs, available in various packaging, temperature, and power models. Use Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) to provide the required clock input (SCK), data (SI), and data output (SO) signals. The operation of these devices can be paused by holding the pin (HOLD), resulting in input being ignored, except for higher priority interrupts defined by chip selection (CS). ###Features: Maximum clock frequency of 10 MHz, maximum write current of 5 mA, read current of 6 mA (typical), standby current of 1 μ A (typical), 32768 x 8-bit structure, 64 byte page, self timed erase and write cycle, 5ms (maximum), block write protection: protects zero, 1/4, 1/2 or all arrays. Write protection: power on/off, data protection circuit, write enable latch, write protection pin sequence. Read tolerance:>1M erase/write cycle. Data retention:>200 years. ESD protection:>4000V.
